Pow Pots tries to be eco-friendly wherever possible.

The egg-shaped fibreclay pots are individually handmade in China. They are air-dried, which uses a fraction of the energy of traditional kiln-baked terracotta and ceramics.

Pow Pots are painted using water-based, low or non-VOC, environmentally-friendly but hard-wearing paints.

For delivery, we use recyclable cardboard boxes and biodegradable gum packaging tape. Inside, we use especially-designed moulds to protect the pots in transit. These moulds are made out of recycled paper pulp and are both compostable and recyclable.

We avoid plastic wherever possible. Sometimes we do use polystyrene strips to give extra protection during shipping, but this is always recycled and reused, and never bought new.
